The Criminal Investigation Division is staffed with three detectives charged with investigating Robberies, Burglaries, Thefts, Assaults, Sexual Assaults as well as other serious crimes. In addition they investigate drug crimes, manage physical evidence and participate in drug take-back programs. Detective Sergeant Adam Temple is certified as a forensic sketch artist. He uses his training both here in Sagadahoc County as well as offering it to help other agencies in the state to solve crimes in their areas.
