Founded February 14, 1854, Sagadahoc County is seated in Bath and home to Arrowsic, Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Georgetown, Perkins Township (Swan Island),  Phippsburg, Richmond, Topsham, West Bath, and Woolwich.
 

The Sagadahoc County Probate Court processes and holds records for Adoptions, Guardianships, Conservatorships, Name Changes, and Estates, as well as provides information about resources to support each person that reaches for help, hope, or direction. We welcome you to call or visit us to learn about what we do and how we serve our community. The Probate Court accepts payment by cash, money order, or check only.
