Please see the COVID-19 Resources Section for the lastest news and up-to-date resources on the COVID-19 Pandemic. We will be updating the page frequently with new information.

Emergency management is the managerial function charged with creating the framework within which communities reduce vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters. Emergency Management protects communities by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.

Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency is seeking donations of extra or unused personal protective equipment (PPE) for our area first response agencies, feeding partners, medical staff, and volunteers. Please see the Maine Ready website found here to donate and volunteer.

Sagadahoc County along with the rest of the State of Maine is currently experiencing a severe drought. Due to current circumstances there are several programs available for agriculture based businesses and livelihoods as well as those experiencing dry wells. Please refer to the Drought section of this website for program information.
