The Communications Center is located in the Sagadahoc County Court Building at 752 High Street in Bath, Maine. It employs a Communications Director, 4 Supervisors, and 11 full-time Public Safety Dispatchers.

Responsible for dispatching Police, Fire and EMS services to all towns within Sagadahoc County; Arrowsic, Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Georgetown, Phippsburg, Richmond, Topsham, West Bath and Woolwich. Sagadahoc County covers 370 square miles; 254 square miles of land and 116 square miles of water. As of July 2008 the estimated population for the whole county was nearly 36,500.

We processes 911, non-emergency, and business calls for all public safety agencies in the county. The Communications Center also provides medical instructions over the phone when necessary when handling emergency calls.
